Anti Dumping In Leather Shoes Market

More than four years of EU China

Anti dumping will end at the end of this month.

The website of the Ministry of Commerce announced recently that the European Commission announced that it would formally stop levying leather shoes from Vietnam and China from March 31st.

But the European Commission still has the above products.

One more choice for exportation

"This is a leather shoe specially designed for the European market."

In the new exhibition hall of Shishi leather shoes production enterprise, the director of the Trade Department of the company briefed reporters on the company's recent leather shoes specially designed for the European market.

Many of the relevant enterprises in our city are optimistic about the protracted war lasting more than four years.

In the past four years, the vast majority of casual leather shoes enterprises have cancelled the annual plan to participate in the largest footwear exposition in Europe, thus basically abandoning the EU market. Currently, the main markets are in Russia and the Americas.

"The re opening of the market will undoubtedly increase the choice of the diversified market for enterprises."

Will worry lead to price war?

However, some shoe companies are worried that once the EU cancels the anti-dumping duty of 16.5%, this part of the profits may be used by some enterprises to fight price war, which will affect the healthy development of the industry.

"Although the European Union may cancel anti-dumping duties, the export speed of leather shoes in our city should not be too fast," said Mr. Chen, director of the brand of fortune bird group.

If products concentrate on exports in the short term, I am afraid that they will lead enterprises into vicious competition, which is not conducive to the re start of the industry in this market.

Some people in the industry expect that, after the EU's anti-dumping duty is suspended in late March, there may be a large number of leather shoes orders entering the Chinese market, which will lead to a sharp increase in the number of leather shoes products entering the EU market in April.

"EU leather shoes, export enterprises must control the number of exports, extend the export period, and try to avoid concentrated exports from April 2011 to June."
