Great potential of rabbit hair export market  

    According to the export situation of rabbit hair and its fabrics:  

    The latest evaluation report released by the United Nations points out that:  

    “ Global warming is an indisputable fact. In terms of the carbon dioxide content in the atmosphere, the global climate will continue to warm up and the temperature will continue to rise. " Because of the warm winter for many years, people's clothing tends to be light and thin, so that rabbit hair fabric is ignored. The relevant statistics show that the average annual export of rabbit hair in recent five years is only 2979 tons, which is 45.68% lower than that in 1980s.  

    In the first half of this year, China exported only 1262 tons of rabbit hair, with the export unit price of 17.32 US dollars / kg and foreign exchange of 21.854 million US dollars, which decreased by 11.8%, 7.867% and 18.8% respectively compared with the same period in 2006. In the first half of 2007, China exported 306900 sweaters, which also decreased by 39.95% compared with the same period in 2006.  

    There are still some difficulties in domestic sales of rabbit hair and fabrics. As the three major technical problems of rabbit hair products, such as shrinkage, hair loss and pilling, have not been fundamentally solved, which affects the consumption of rabbit hair fabrics, and it is difficult to form a stable consumer group in China, which will also suppress the price of rabbit hair from the terminal industry chain.  

    Mr. Zhang Yidong, senior engineer of Shanxi Taiyuan rabbit hair textile factory, made a new breakthrough in rabbit hair textile technology in 1993. In 2002, he obtained two invention patents of rabbit hair clothing, but up to now, it has not been put into mass production.  

    "Leiwo" brand pure rabbit hair series products produced by Haotian company of Puning City, Guangdong Province, were exhibited at the third Puning international shirt Festival and textile and Clothing Fair in 2003, which caused a sensation. However, up to now, the pure rabbit hair series products of this brand have not been put into the market in batches.

    Therefore, it is still difficult to open the rabbit hair market. Of course, rabbit hair as an animal textile fiber, has certain advantages in the wool textile industry, rabbit industry will never disappear. With the continuous improvement of rabbit hair textile technology and the continuous development of new rabbit hair products, there is still a certain space for development of rabbit hair industry.
