EU Identifies New Logo For Eco Products
In February 8th, the European Commission announced in Brussels that the European Union has chosen a new logo for Eco products and was officially launched in July 1st this year.
The European Commission issued a communique on the same day, saying that from July 1, 2010 onwards, the EU Member States must print new labels on the packaging of ecological products according to the requirements. The logo of the company, region or country can be printed beside the new logo of the European Union.
The European eco product's new logo, "European green leaf", takes a green rectangle as its background. It represents the shape of a leaf from 12 stars representing the EU Member States. This very simple design highlights two concepts, namely nature and Europe.
